1. THE PURPOSE OF THE DUBLIN COUNTRY
FAIR IS:
* To provide a family and community event that is fun,
wholesome and
appeals to a variety of ages and interests.
* To unite people in our community, providing an opportunity
for people to
work together and to know each other better.
* To let people know about Dublin, the history and character
of our
community and that it is a good place to live.
* To benefit people in our community by contributing a portion
of the
proceeds raised, to the Dublin Community Scholarship Fund,
to help area
residents attending college, technical schools or
retraining programs.
2. Crafters and vendors will sell only what has been approved on their
application.
The committee reserves the right to have the vendor remove any
product that it
deems inappropriate.
3. Every vendor will maintain a clean area, provide trash container and
make sure
trash is removed and area is clean before leaving.
4. Everyone participating will have his/her vehicle removed from the
school grounds
by 9:30 A.M. No exceptions. Set up starts at dawn - around 5:00A.M.
Usually
tents can be set-up Friday evening after 6:00 P.M.
5. No vendor may have his/her vehicle on the Fair Grounds before 3:15 P.M.
the day
of the Fair.
6. No vendor can leave the Fair Grounds before 3:15 P.M. the day of the
Fair.
7. Each space is 10x10 and every vendor must pay a $30.00 non-refundable
fee.
8. The Dublin Country Fair will assign a location to each vendor. No
vendor can
change his/her location without permission from the Committee
Chairperson.
9. No alcohol or smoking products will be sold or used at the Dublin
Country Fair.
10. No profanity.
11. Vendors are expected to conduct themselves in a manner appropriate to
family
environment.
12. Any organization may contribute to the scholarship fund.
13. Every participating organization and/or individual must sign the
application,
thereby signifying willingness to abide by the above guidelines.
14. FOOD VENDORS must turn a Health Department Form in with vendor
application
and Health Department fee if applicable. Food vendors must to be
set up and
ready for Health Department inspection by 8:00 A.M. No exceptions.
15. We try to help our vendors with as much advertising as we can. Please
help us and promote our fair when possible.
The Committee has the right to refuse future participation to anyone who
violates these guidelines.
Guidelines for Accepting Vendors
1. Organizations, residents within Dublin Elementary School area, and
returning
vendors (who participated in the 2007 fair) receive priority
acceptance until
February 1, 2008.
2. Crafters/vendors will be accepted on first come, first serve basis,
according to
need.
3. To be considered, applicants must submit:
* application form
* fee
* for food vendors - Health Department forms and health
department fee (if
applicable)
4. NO REFUNDS
