What a fabulous parade Dublin is able to offer, thanks to all the participants! The parade starts at 10am with the Maryland State Police department presenting the flags.
followed by various fire departments' ambulances and fire trucks
The many area youth groups include Dublin United Methodist Church's youth, 4-H groups, boy scouts, the Dublin Elementary school's chorus
Parade participant info: Parade registration is FREE!! While we do NOT offer pre-registration, forms are available here to fill out prior to the morning of the parade. Please fill out and bring to the registration table located at the intersection of Rts 136 and 440 (R.L. Day, Inc. car lot) Please do not fill in the registration number. Car show registration can be done after the parade. These are two separate events and therefore registration is also separate. The car show is held in the Dublin Elementary School parking lot. If entering both, the end of the parade line will put you right at the car show and fair grounds. (there is a fee to enter your vehicle in the car show, in order to cover costs of trophies) |
